…the other day I went to my old boys meet…..

…all my once-upon-a-time friends are now fat….old…and rich !!!

…they were looking prosperous….but…definitely looking ill….and ill-at-ease !

… the discussion ….turned …towards the subject of “how much is required to retire “…

…I said….why retire….LIVE !

….they all said….you are out of sync….

I said…you all seem to be having MORE THAN ENOUGH…

…they said…..No…NO….We got to work for  at least five more years….

I said….who told you that !

…they said….DONT FEEL SECURE AS YET !

…I said…..you guys are NEVER going to feel secure…. ( but this I said in my heart )

Disease or Dis…Ease ?

I am quite amazed at the spectacular work ….all over the world…..that has been done to understand the psychological causes/inducements of diseases….

One name that comes to mind …is that of   MARY LOUISE  HAYES…and holistic healing….

The idea of holistic healing is quite simple to understand by our  ”feel”….but a lot more difficult …if one is inclined towards …a rigorous intellectual explanation….

We all know that our emotions can alter our state of health….in fact , a majority of the ailments are emotionally induced ailments….

This fact has been recognised by the puritans as well !

Sceptics would normally have a field day in dismissing the idea of faith -healing , hypnotism , distance-healing …and many other forms of alternate therapies….

While I am a great believer of THOUGHTS-TURNING-INTO-CHEMICALS-AND- VICE-VERSA…… but I still am a fence sitter with respect to the so called alternate healing claims !

Truth is…probably… hidden behind the war between conservatives on one side …and …over-enthusiastic claimants of panacea…on the other !

I urge you to write back something on  issues relating to holistic healing…..

To conclude for today…I would stake my reputation on stating that diseases are our reactions to our emotional dis-eases !…
